The final weeks, focusing on compiling all the works and designs for submissions. Last few changes from the feedbacks given.
With the end of open studios, everyone gets to showcase their set up to the class and get feedback from our peers. This is great as we get a much detailed description from peers that already kind of knew what our project is about.
The primary objective is to gain as much feedback as possible and improve on the works based on how much time I have left. However, the changes will not be drastic as I know anything major will not be possible with the limited time.
Ideas?
In the concluding week of consultation, Andreas convened a meeting around each of our setups, providing us with the opportunity to showcase our projects and elucidate the workings of our products. We were also encouraged to offer feedback on the projects and propose ideas for subsequent steps.
Practice
This experience also serves as a rehearsal for presenting to the panels, allowing for a smooth flow of the presentation with the strategic use of props in the setup. Ultimately, it was a delightful and rewarding final consultation, witnessing everyone gathered to showcase their year-long project progress. It's moments like these that highlight the culmination of hard work and collaboration, offering a glimpse into the diverse range of projects and the dedication invested in them. Such gatherings are not just about the end results, but also about the shared journey and the collective growth experienced along the way. It's a celebration of learning, innovation, and the pursuit of knowledge that characterizes such academic endeavors.
New Visuals?
These suggestions included the creation of new visuals and the exploration of alternative mediums to present details more effectively. This collaborative environment not only fostered a deeper understanding of our individual projects but also sparked a dialogue on innovative ways to enhance our presentations, ensuring that our concepts were communicated with clarity and impact.
Explanation
I’ve taken the initiative to participate in a roundtable meeting alongside lecturers and two of your school peers. The session commenced with a presentation of slides, where I introduced the background, additional information, and research related to the topic at hand. As I move forward, the feedback session becomes pivotal. Next is when insights, perspectives, and constructive critiques will shape the discussion.
What's next?
Reflecting on the feedback I've received, it's clear that my project is far from over. The path ahead requires me to delve deeper, providing a clearer vision of the atmosphere I envision for the exhibition. It's essential to articulate the ambiance and the essence of the experience I aim to create, ensuring that every element aligns with the overarching theme. This will involve refining the details and enriching the narrative to fully convey the story I wish to tell through this exhibition.
Feedbacks
The comments were excellent! They appreciate the idea and comprehend the project's justification. They are worried about this's restrictions, such what would happen if there was a large-scale engagement with the exhibit. Are the people keeping the trinket? Is this more of an open-air mass exposition or a social interaction? Make sure that the art, not the technology, is the main attraction. I will need to have these factors in mind.
